2 Army choppers make emergency landings in Bikaner due to rough weather

Two Indian Army helicopters on Wednesday made emergency landings in Rajasthan's Bikaner due to rough weather conditions in the area.

Two choppers of the Indian Army made emergency landings in Rajasthan's Bikaner on Wednesday evening due to inclement weather. Both the pilots were safe and they ensured that the choppers sustained no damage.

The helicopters, that encountered rain and dust storm due to a western disturbance, made the emergency landing on a kutcha road at around 3.30 pm in the Udasar area of Bikaner.

Once the choppers made the emergency landing, an Army team was rushed to the spot. Heavy security arrangements were in place.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of intense thunderstorms and rain in the state in the coming days.
