Military helicopter makes emergency landing near Lincoln Airport

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A military helicopter made an emergency landing near the Lincoln Airport on Wednesday.

Three people were on board the Nebraska National Guard’s UH-60 helicopter when they noticed an engine malfunction, said Maj. Scott Ingalsbe.

The group decided to make an emergency landing after noticing the malfunction.

No one was injured in the landing, and there is no sign of damage to the helicopter.

An airport spokeswoman said crews responded to a downed military helicopter.
