AMSTAT Celebrates 40 Years of Service

Tinton Falls, NJ – September 8, 2022:  AMSTAT, the leading provider of objective business aircraft market, fleet, and operator information, is happy and proud to celebrate our 40th year of providing the best-in-class market research information to our customers.

In 1982, AMSTAT started as a small family-run business dedicated to providing objective research specific to the business aviation market. Since then, AMSTAT has grown and evolved to continue to meet their customers’ needs through the years. Mailed printed reports on the jet market in the 1980’s gave way to faxes and then PC’s and diskette and coverage expanded to include turboprops. In the 1990’s, services evolved into Windows based applications with modem data transmission. The 2000’s saw coverage expand into the turbine helicopter market and services migrate to web-based PC and mobile platforms and access to the latest market research data from anywhere. More recently AMSTAT has further expanded its services to support Salesforce® and to provide estimated aircraft values.

“While the technology used to deliver our data has changed over the years, what has not changed is our dedication to our clients” said Kit Tankhiwale, AMSTAT Senior Product Innovator. He added “AMSTAT remains focused on tracking business aviation and only business aviation, as we believe in doing one thing and doing it exceptionally well. As a result, AMSTAT has grown to serve thousands of customers a day across almost every vertical in this industry.”

Judy Nerwinski, AMSTAT Research Director said “AMSTAT recognizes that it’s not just hard work that results in success, but hard work done right that makes AMSTAT a market leader. That’s why AMSTAT employees maintain the highest ethical standards in whatever they do, whether it’s our Research team cultivating long-term relationships with the brokers and dealers and operators, or the Development and Service teams that ensure the security and safety of your information. It is no surprise that customer loyalty is at an all-time high, with a retention rate of over 95%.”

AMSTAT’s success has not gone unnoticed. AMSTAT was purchased by CAMP, the leading independent provider of aviation management products and services, in 2003, and CAMP was later acquired in 2017 by Hearst, a leading global, diversified information, services and media company. AMSTAT also had its own opportunity to be an acquirer with its purchase of Aircraft Shopper Online (ASO), the first fully online aircraft listing service in 2005. “This history of acquisitions not only demonstrates AMSTAT’s value but also our commitment to long-term success” said Andrew Young, AMSTAT General Manager.

AMSTAT believes in not just the sustainability of the business aviation industry but also the world in general. AMSTAT is a proud supporter of the National Forest Foundation, a partner of the United States Forest Service that promotes the development and enjoyment of America’s National Forests. AMSTAT contributes to the National Forest Foundation with each new subscription.

“AMSTAT is celebrating our 40th year, and we’d like to thank each of our customers for their continued support to reach this incredible milestone. We look forward to another 40 years in serving you and supporting you grow your business in the years to come”, said Peter Koeppel, AMSTAT Director of Operations.

AMSTAT will be exhibiting at NBAA-BACE 2022, October 18-20, Orlando, FL – Booth #4501.
